Justin Turner, born 1984 in Long Beach, CA, is the 33 year-old All-Star 3rd baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Justin went to Mayfair High School in Lakewood, CA before going to college at Cal State Fullerton to play baseball for the Titans.
Justin was named College World Series all-tournament team as a shortstop in 2003, before making his major league debut in September of 2009 with the Baltimore Orioles.
Turner was claimed by the New York Mets off waivers in 2010 and was named NL Rookie of the month in May 2011. Justin signed a minor league contract with the Dodgers in 2014, followed by a 4-year contract in 2016. Growing up, he was a huge fan of the Cal State Fullerton Titans and the LA Dodgers, both of which he ended up playing for.
Turner also won the All-Star final vote on July 6th for the 2017 All-Star game. Justin has a significant social media following, with over 80k Facebook, 140k Twitter and 380k Instagram followers. He married his longtime girlfriend, Kourtney Pogue, in December of 2017. Kourtney is an American actress from Indiana and together, they have a dog named Moonshine.
Justin does a lot of community work through his charity organization, The Justin Turner Foundation, which raises money for homeless Veterans. They recently partnered with the LA Marathon for a 5k charity relay along with a full 26.2 mile marathon. Turner is also known for his red hair and impressively large beard.
