There's something about dining outside that seems to make even the best cuisine even better, and add a romantic flair to any breakfast, lunch or dinner. Eating outside however doesn't have to crimp your style if you like artistic table settings for everyday dining or special occasions.
Just like decorating inside for the different seasons or gatherings with friends and family, outdoor decorating can be a fun expression of your style no matter what your outdoor dining table looks like. Here’s some fun ideas for table settings that blend with nature’s beauty easily and affordably. Chances are these three ideas will spark many more of your own. Please share them on our Facebook page under the link to this blog. We love passing on great ideas from one customer to another!
String it up:
It no new idea to string lights over your table area or from patio to patio, but that doesn't do much for daylight dining. Use those wires to add daytime color by string flowers overhead. Large bloom flowers like peonies and roses are easy options.
Light it up:
Candelabras again are nothing new so add a twist to candlelight dinners by placing various-sized votives at every plate, floating candles in glass bowls as centerpieces, or make a stream of light from one end of the table to the other with dozens of votives and hurricanes lined up in the center, illuminating plates and faces at the same time. For a more country flair, use mason jars as hurricanes for you votives.
Style it up:
Up your table style with elements of nature that compliment any style of dinner ware. Find small rocks from your garden, wash them off and line up in your center area. Use them to host votives, twigs from our garden, condiments, small flower arrangements or more. Paint you guests names on small stones for memorable place cards and mementos. If you live in the woods, scatter pine cones on your table amongst the stones, and small birdhouses for the perfect accents.
